- Eclipse and Dojo Toolkit -
Open source software is an important factor in software development today. Among many open source projects, IBM is investing in the Eclipse and the Dojo Toolkit. The Eclipse is dominant in the Java IDE area and continues to evolve as well as a rich client platform and a server-side plug-in technology, while the Dojo Toolkit is an emerging open source project that provides JavaScript libraries for developing rich internet applications.
